Company History
Best/White & Associates began operations in El Paso, Texas in 1991 and Best/White de México opened its first office in Cd. Juarez, México in 1993. The company started as a partnership between John K. Best, an SIOR member, and Bill White who have been involved solely in the brokerage of industrial real estate since 1972 and 1982, respectively. Today we also have offices in Laredo and McAllen, Texas. Our affiliation with Grubb & Ellis in 2001 provides our customers with a single point of contact for all of México through Best/White.

A market industrial leader in El Paso and along the border, we list and market close to five million square feet, and have been involved in industrial portfolio sales to institutional owners of over four and a half million square feet in the last five years in El Paso alone.
Juarez, México
Grubb & Ellis | Best/White has been the premier industrial real estate brokerage firm in northern México since its establishment in 1994 and has evolved with the growth of the maquila industry. Juarez has a population in excess of 1.5 million people and the largest maquila employment of any city in México. The sister cities of Juarez and El Paso reside across the Rio Grande River from one another at almost the exact center of the US-México border and together form the largest concentration of maquiladora industry of the entire border region.
Laredo, Texas (Best/White LLC)
More than 38% of trade and commerce between Mexico and the U.S. and Canada is funneled through Laredo. Our office in Laredo has a listing on a one thousand acre master-planned industrial development adjacent to the World Trade Bridge, the only commercial crossing in Laredo's MSA.
McAllen, Texas (Best/White LLC)
The McAllen/Mission office was opened as part of our commitment to the Rio Grande Valley. Grubb & Ellis | Best/White understands the importance of the expanding trade area and its influence on both the U.S. side in McAllen, Harlingen, and Brownsville as well as the Mexican side in Reynosa and Matamoros. The office also serves as the exclusive brokering/marketing representative for a Hunt development located at the Sharyland Business Park in McAllen.
